What is it?
This procedure shows you how to update the public holidays in Lightspeed – Price Lists
Why we do it?
To ensure customers are being charged our 15% surcharge on all Public Holidays.
Who performs this task?
You need to have been invited to manage our Google Page. Anyone is able to be allocated this task, preferably someone who is full time and allocated some admin hours
When do we perform this task?
We perform this task once a year for all Holidays and for all locations. Amy has a reminder email set to go out.
Login details or access codes
You need backend access to Lightspeed and you need to be ADMIN, or have ‘Site Location’ permissions. Every one has their own log in for Lightspeed, there is no generic login.
How we do it
- My Site (Choose the location you are updating) – NB: Each Location that opens on public holidays needs to be updated separately
- Pice Lists
- Click the ‘calendar’ symbol to edit the date for the following year
- Choose the new date
- Choose ‘All Day’
- Click ‘Schedule Price List’
Additional comments / Good to know
No need to add a schedule for Good Friday, Christmas Day or Boxing Day as we are closed on these days.
