Complete the below points daily

Clear and wipe all tables first before starting
Wipe out sandwich fridge, every shelf, starting at the top. Remove silver spacers on bottom shelf and clean under, also lift grill and clean under
Fill water stations on both sides (at bar stool on cafe side and at the gelato cabinet)
Sweep and mop upstairs & dining areas in cafe side (pay particular attention to the stairs)
Clean and sanitise all 3 high chairs with a clean yellow cloth (place in wash basket when finished)
Check Community Notice Board and remove out of date information
Tidy magazine shelves, wipe over and throw out any business cards, flyers and old magazines
Make sure all deliveries & stock in the arcade have been put away – NEVER LEAVE ANY STOCK OUTSIDE THE ROLLER DOOR
AT 6PM – Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday Nights: collect all rags from cafe, barista & kitchen & put on in washing machine.
At 7.30pm – put rags in the dryer

RETURN CORDLESS PHONE TO BASE (on barista back bench)
Ensure both walkie talkies have been put back on their base and the earpieces have been hung on the hook
15 mins before closing time bring in the juice sign, pull down the juicer & clean (8pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights)
Turn off the sandwich press. IT IS HOT, take the oil drain to the sink to clean and wash up
STRAIGHTEN & WIPE tables in the arcade – INCLUDING THE TABLES IN FRONT OF NOURISH (check with the barista and register to see if they have done theirs)
Finish all dishes & close down dishwasher
Scrub front of sink with steel wool, wipe over with blue cloth
Clean hand basin, and both sides of dishwasher sink (scrub both with jiff) & wipe dry with tea towel
Take out the last of the rubbish – AND LOCK BOTH BINS
Put scrap bin outside arcade door opposite the milk crates

Take out milk crates with bottles – place all items that can’t be exchanged for 10c (click here to see them) into the co-mingle bin, return the crate containing only 10c bottles to the crate storage area
Sweep & Mop kitchen, be sure to do under the sink area also (being careful not to pull out dishwashing liquid containers too far)
Turn off lights, Range hood Lights & AC in kitchen – LEAVE RANGE HOOD FAN ON – SWITCHED TO LOW
TAKE UPSTAIRS – Rags & Nina’s Basket
Put rags into the washing machine (see article)
LOCK UP CAFE KITCHEN AND ARACDE

At 8pm take in Juice Sign and close down and clean the Juicer.
Check sandwich press is OFF
WIPE ALL TABLES IN ARACDE
WIPE ALL TABLES ON THE CAFE AND GELATO SIDES
Scrub front of the dish sink with steel wool, wipe over with blue cloth
Clean hand basin, and both sides of dishwasher sink (scrub both with jiff) & wipe dry with tea towel
Empty the arcade bin, take out all cardboard, and empty all milk crates to the appropriate areas (Cardboard boxes – click here for what to do with it
Put scrap bin outside arcade door opposite the milk crates
Sweep & Mop kitchen right to the kitchen doors and place CLEANING SIGN AT DOORWAY, be sure to do under the sink area also (being careful not to pull out dishwashing liquid containers too far)
Turn off Range hood Light & AIR CON in kitchen – LEAVE RANGE HOOD FAN ON – SWITCHED TO LOW
