This article will explain how to make the sausage roll mix as well as how to roll them.
Ingredients:
- 1x bunch celery, leaves removed, stalks diced
- 2x red onions, finely diced
- 1/4 cup spice mix
- 5 cups fresh or frozen bread crumbs (made from left over crusts)
- 1 small bunch parsley, finely chopped (remove stalks)
- salt & pepper
- 3/4 gastronome grated carrot or 7 carrots
- 4 eggs
- 4kg beef sausage mince
Method:
- Combine all ingredients into large container
- Mix well
- Cover, date & store in fridge or roll into sausage rolls.
