To troubleshoot the issue of surcharge not being added in Lightspeed Payments, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that surcharging is enabled in the Back Office:
– Go to Lightspeed Payments on the Integrations page in Back Office.
– Switch On “Payments Surcharge.”
– Select “I understand and enable” to proceed.

2. Check if you have entered the correct surcharging rates:
– Go to the Lightspeed Payments page.
– Use the “Surcharge rate” column to enter the rate for Mastercard/Visa and American Express.
– Select “Save” to confirm.

3. Update the configuration of your terminals:
– For S1F2 terminals:
1. Press the Settings button.
2. Press Configuration.
3. Enter your Admin Pin (5773 by default).
4. If a Configuration Update is available, you will see a blue Update button.
– For e285p, p400, and v400 terminals:
1. Select 1 and then the Confirm key to go to your terminal menu (For the E280 model, to get to the terminal menu, select the small square, bottom right “Select Admin”).
2. Choose “Config” and then “Update.”
