What is it?
Tracking products that have expired, been damaged and are unsalable or have been ordered or made incorrectly

To measure waste, so we can adjust where needed and save money
Who performs this task?
Anyone who has dispose of any products without taking payment for them
When do we perform this task?
At the time of disposing or as soon as possible afterwards
Login details or access codes
You will require access to the backend of Lightspeed with your own email and password
How we do it
Access Lightspeed
- Go to Back End
- If it’s the first time you have logged in you will need your email and password (there after, just your password will be required)
- Click on the K+, from the left hand menu
- Choose your correct location
- Click on Wastage (along the top menu, right at the end)
- Click +Wastage
- Choose the correct date the stock is from (ie grab n go is the date it was made)
- Choose your product, CORRECT reason & Quantity
- Click Save
- Return to POS
