Operating the Dishwasher

NB: YOU MUST WIPE THE INSIDE BASE OF THE DISHWASHER EVERY CLOSE, MAKING SURE NOT TO WIPE ANY DEBRIS DOWN THE DRAIN HOLE

Ensure the Rinse Aid and Dish washer Liquid Bottles are never empty
Certain items do not go into the dishwasher these include: Sharp Knives, Plastic Cake Display Covers, Wooden Serving Board.
Ensure all food scraps, paper, sugar packets, napkins etc are removed from crockery.
Ensure everything that goes into the dishwasher has been rinsed. The dishwasher is actually a sanitiser and is not designed for washing dishes (you are the dishwasher).
The above points is VERY IMPORTANT as it cost $195 plus GST for a call out to unblock the dishwasher.
Coffee cups and Juice glasses need to be washed with a sponge prior to going in.
Ensure the dishes are clean when they come out, scrub and then send them back through if necessary.
Ensure to keep the sink top wiped and clear of water.
Ensure everything is wiped when it comes out of the dishwasher, never put things away wet.
Always load the next lot of dishes prior to putting things away, this increases efficiency.
Hand wash knives as soon as possible by running under very hot water with detergent and wiping off with tee-towel

Remove last load of dishes (tray included)
Close door and press & hold clean button until draining starts
Wait for cycle to end and dishwasher will turn itself off
Open door and remove and clean the filters and drain plug (blue thing under filters)
WIPE OUT ENTIRE BOTTOM OF DISHWASHER, being very careful not to wipe debris down into the drain off, WIPE AROUND THE PLUG HOLE
Wipe inside and outside of door to remove streaks.
Replace clean filter and drain plug back where they belong.
Leave door open to air overnight

Once the above is completed remove the top and bottom spray arms by unscrewing the middle cap
Rinse with water and remove any debris
Put back together and replace in dishwasher
